TORQUE MOTORS



Reuland manufactures a complete line of torque motors for applications requiring short-term or complete prolonged stall. Reuland's Torque motors differ from a standard induction motor in the shape of the speed torque curve and thermal capacity to withstand locked rotor currents. Torque motors are rated at locked rotor torque (inch pounds or foot pounds) along with the associated time ratings. Reuland offers two variants of Torque motors: Constant Tension Winder motors and Constant Torque Helper motors.
