SS-100 INVERTER/VECTOR DUTY MOTORS

Reuland's variable speed, SS-100 inverter/vector duty motors are designed and optimized for inverter operation only and provide a wide constant torque range available in both open-loop and closed-loop modes. SS-100 style motors are designed and manufactured for the most demanding applications. With closed-loop controls, Reuland's SS-100 motors provide up to 2000:1 constant torque and full torque at zero speed. With open-loop controls, a constant torque range of 1000:1 is also achievable.


Reuland's unique slot designs minimize the heating and noise effects induced by drive switching frequencies (harmonics) and eliminate typical cogging at low-frequency operation. Variable speed designs are also available with wide constant power ranges often required in machine tool spindle applications. Reuland's variable speed, SS-100 inverter/vector duty motors are available in open drip proof, totally enclosed and auxiliary blower cooled enclosures, and as a continuous or intermittent duty.



Typical applications include machine tools, material handling, pumps, fans, and elevators, to name a few.
